I am running the 2023 Boston Marathon to fundraise for Cops for Kids With Cancer, an amazing charity that supports the financial needs of families with children fighting cancer. Cops for Kids with Cancer has donated over $4.1 million directly to 762 families. I ask for your donation to help me reach my fundraising goal of $10,000. I grew up in Massachusetts watching the Boston Marathon every year and dreaming of one day running it myself. That dream became a reality in 2003, when I first ran the Boston Marathon. What I did not know at that time was that this dream would not go away after I crossed the finish line on Patriot’s Day 2003. Rather, crossing that finish line ignited a fire that remains burning to this day – I have now completed 65 marathons and have not missed a Boston Marathon since.
I am a law enforcement officer and father of four. It was through my work that I became aware of Cops for Kids with Cancer. The charity was created and continues to be run by police officers. I am fortunate that my childhood dream came true. Please help me raise money for Cops for Kids with Cancer so children suffering from cancer can do the same.
