In Memory of Billy Coulter
Bill served on the Massachusetts State Police for over 45 years, achieving the rank of Detective Lieutenant. He was a member of the Massachusetts State Police Commissioned Officers Association. Bill was a longtime cancer survivor and passionate about Cops for Kids with Cancer, where he was the Chairman at the time of his death. His other passion was physical fitness, completing over 20 Ironman Triathlons and 150 marathons, including 36 consecutive Boston Marathons and every Disney World Marathon up until his passing. Many runners ran virtually last year to raise funds in his honor. This year we are able to once again run the live race on the course. With fewer numbers allotted due to Covid restrictions, we have to work even harder to achieve our ambitious goal. Please consider supporting one of our runners in Bill’s memory.

I’m inspired by my dear friend, Detective Lt. Billy Coulter, to run another Boston Marathon and to raise funds for his favorite charity, Cops for Kids with Cancer.
Billy “Ironman” Coulter of the Massachusetts State Police passed away in the fall of 2019 and this is one of the ways I can keep his legacy alive.
After finishing my 25th consecutive Boston Marathon in 2021, I am training lightly so I can try to keep the streak going. It was a blessing to be able to run last year’s race on the course and with thousands of fans cheering once again. Looking forward to it again. As always, I try to cross the finish line ahead of Retired Lt. Steve Pugsley.
Robert & Robby Favuzza

Cops for Kids with Cancer is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on raising funds to provide assistance to families of children fighting cancer, to improve their quality of life.

I’ll be 40 in June. I grew up playing soccer and running Track, and I started refereeing youth soccer at 12 yrs old, working my way up to some semi-professional games after college (refereeing). I’m from the 81st RTT, academy graduation May 2014. I ran the Marine Corps Marathon in 2018 and Chicago Marathon in 2021, making this Boston my 3rd overall, but first Boston!
I’m running in my 10th Boston Marathon. Never thought I’d say that! What better way to continue to honor Billy and celebrate my 10th Boston than by raising money for this amazing organization. Thank you for any donation, big or small, to support CFKWC.
