Here is a little back story written by her father.
Last year when my daughter Charlotte Wilcox was 7-years old she asked me if I would help her with a lemonade stand to buy a toy. We saw a commercial about Kids with Cancer and she said she wanted to give them the money instead. Charlotte asked me what it was like when I had cancer. She was 6 months old when I had surgery for Colon cancer.
So we asked a friend Glen Hardy, owner of Hardy’s Restaurant and Pub if we could have it there. He was only too happy to help. Charlotte raised $3,000 with her Lemonade stand that went to St. Jude’s last year. It was covered by Channel 7 and The Enterprise. She asked if she could have it every year. When I explained to her about Cops For Kids With Cancer, she was so excited! She wears her CFKWC T-shirt so proudly.
She has designed her own logo for a t-shirt which is a little girl kicking a soccer ball right through a goal (goal being cancer) killing cancer. Incorporating Cops For Kids With Cancer on the shirt for sale to raise money for this incredible cause.
