Support Kendall Bennett’s Fundraiser!
You could say marathons run in my family. My parents have run a total of 19 marathons and my Uncle Billy ran over 150 alone, many of which I was able to watch them cross the finish line when I was little. I was always certain that there were no circumstances under which I would ever put myself through one. As a rower, I found my own endurance sport far away from the pavement.
When my Uncle Billy, a Detective Lieutenant in the Massachusetts State Police and the Chairman of Cops for Kids with Cancer, passed away in the fall, I knew that a marathon was in my imminent future. Now on my fourth marathon, I consider myself to be so lucky to raise money for the charity that he was so passionate about by running the race he was so passionate about, the Boston Marathon.
Please help me to exceed my fundraising goal, which allows Cops for Kids with Cancer to support families so they can focus on fighting their child’s cancer.
