Several police departments came together to make a little 3-year-old smile.
Gia is battling leukemia. Eighty-five cruisers formed a police escort in her honor Wednesday, all part of ‘Cops for Kids with Cancer’ supporting our communities.
The girl and her family arrived at the Tewksbury Police Station for some special VIP fun and a very generous gift. Officers presented the family with a $5,000 check to help with medical bills.
Gia and her brother dressed up in police uniforms got to ride in a very special cruiser.
