On May 27, 2016, Cops For Kids With Cancer went to the Springfield Police Department and made a donation of $5,000 to the family of Landen Palatino an 8 year old boy Springfield who has Glioblastoma Multiforme. Joe Gentile, President of International Brotherhood of Police Officers, also gave the family $1,000.
