In Memory of Billy Coulter
Bill served on the Massachusetts State Police for over 45 years, achieving the rank of Detective Lieutenant. He was a member of the Massachusetts State Police Commissioned Officers Association. Bill was a longtime cancer survivor and passionate about Cops for Kids with Cancer, where he was the Chairman at the time of his death. His other passion was physical fitness, completing over 20 Ironman Triathlons and 150 marathons, including 36 consecutive Boston Marathons and every Disney World Marathon up until his passing. Many runners ran virtually last year to raise funds in his honor. This year we are able to once again run the live race on the course. With fewer numbers allotted due to Covid restrictions, we have to work even harder to achieve our ambitious goal. Please consider supporting one of our runners in Bill’s memory.

I am so thrilled to have this opportunity to run the 2022 Boston Marathon in support of Cops for Kids With Cancer. I have always loved running and to be able to run in support of families battling childhood cancer, makes it all the more worth it. Please join me in supporting this organization and helping these families. This will be my second marathon, having been lucky enough to run NYC in 2019. I can’t wait to get out there in April. Thank you for your support!
Chris Borelli
I’m 33 years old, have run two half marathons and this will be my first full. I work in a neuroscience research lab. Super excited for this opportunity. Love to run and do agility with my dog, Eko.

We will be running the Boston Marathon once again and continuing the tradition of honoring our dear friend DLT Billy Coulter by raising funds for Cops for Kids with Cancer in his memory, as he was Chairman of the organization when he passed away. This will be Katie’s third and my 26th Boston Marathon.
Over the years, CFKWC has given away more than $4.1 million to families with children battling cancer…no strings attached. Every little bit helps, so please consider donating to the charity of which Billy was such a big part.

Being born and raised north of Boston “Marathon Monday” has always been an important day in my life each year. In 2013, a day I will never forget, the marathon changed forever. Boston rose to the occasion representing resilience and unity. In 2015 my sister and I eager to be part of the “Boston Strong” message. We were able to raise money for Spaulding Rehab Hospital and experience first hand just how “stong” Boston is. A few years have passed, however my motivation to embark on a physical and mentally taxing journey to support those in need remains. As I prepare to run 26.2 glorious miles in the best city I ask you consider donating to Cops for Kids with Cancer. No donation is too small to help families who need the help. Thank you! – Haley

Running the Boston Marathon has been something that has been on my bucket list for most of my life. Every Patriot’s Day I would sit at home watching the thousands of runners on the iconic marathon route and wonder if that was ever realistically something that I would have the opportunity to do. Being given this opportunity is completely surreal and is hard to put into words.

Please consider joining me on my goal to give back by donating to Cops for Kids with Cancer. I have chosen to double my goal in hopes that even more families will be given the support they need. My sister being a MSP Trooper has always given me the motivation to help others, together we will be taking on the 2022 Boston Marathon proudly representing CFKWC.

On April 18th I will be running in my 9th marathon and my 7th Boston Marathon. This year I have the amazing opportunity and honor to run and raise money to benefit Cops for Kids With Cancer, an amazing charity that benefits families and children who have been impacted by cancer. This incredible organization has helped countless families by relieving some of the financial burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis, allowing them to focus on their child. Please consider donating to Cops for Kids with Cancer. I ask that you please help support this remarkable organization and help me reach my goal of raising $3,500. Any donation can make a big difference! Thank you!

Always an honor and again, I will be running my 20th consecutive Boston Marathon with the State Police Marathon Team on April 18th, raising funds for Cops For Kids with Cancer. This year, again I have the distinct honor of running the marathon in memory of Dlt Billy Coulter and my MSP Academy classmate and best buddy, Sgt Michael Andrews. This will be only my 2nd Boston Marathon running without Billy, several of which we crossed side by side! Please read about our mission on the Cops for Kids with Cancer web page and consider donating and helping me raise funds for our charity! Thank You!
